Resin Driveways

Resin surfacing makes excellent driveways.  There are two types of resin. To install a resin driveway or path depends on the surface where it will be applied.  Resin surfacing can be applied to concrete or tarmacadam surfaces, so the area of application doesn't necessarily need to be dug out.  Preparation is the key and if there are any cracks or potholes, these will be repaired.  The area will be cleaned and prepared before the resin mixture can be applied.  We take great care to ensure that your driveway or path is fully installed professionally.

The most popular and recommended one is resin bound.

Resin Bound surfacing relies on mixing special aggregate together with polymer resin. This mixture is then applied to your existing driveway surface or a new concrete base and is then smoothed over with a trowel, creating a nice even finish for your home exterior, perfect for vehicles and pedestrians alike.  Resin bound is an excellent smooth surface.

The area has to be prepared in much the same way as with the resin bound surfacing.  Once prepared the system differs in application.

Resin Bond uses a 'coat and scatter system'.  This means that the area is coated with the resin and then spraying crushed gravel on top.  This gives a rougher surface and is not a permeable surface.

We would recommend resin bound surfacing instead for a better result.

  1. Visually pleasing
  2. Weather resistant
  3. Fully porous
  4. SuDS compliant
  5. Long lasting
  6. Fast installation

Resin doesn't just have to be for the driveway, it can also be used on paths, patios, pool sides and even as an indoor surface, such as a garage.

Also used in children's playgrounds, schools, pathways areas etc.

One of the key features of resin paving is its customisability. When you order a resin bound driveway from us, you get to choose from a whole selection of colours and textures from your aggregate.

Patterns can also be mixed into the surface to give your home the finishing touch it needs to stand out from the crowd.
